Extra deep, square format panels are ready to be prepped and primed. Made in Canada, our panels are built with 1/8" birch plywood mounted to a 2 1/2" deep basswood cradle.

We mask the edges of the panel and apply three coats of acrylic gesso primer, sanding between each coat. The primer seals the wood surface, preparing it to accept paint.

With the panel primed, a bold single colour underpainting is laid down and the drawing is done. The colour of the underpainting is chosen to compliment the finished piece.

The portrait is painted in several layers of bold and expressive brush work. The layers build up an engaging surface full of texture and spontaneous painterly moments. Our paintings draw you in with something new to discover and enjoy every time you look at it.

When the painting is done it gets branded with the PPP logo and receives two coats of UV blocking varnish, ensuring your painting will never fade. the masking tape is removed, revealing the clean, finished edge.

Three edge finish options: black, white and natural. Perfect for displaying your portrait unframed.

All paintings come ready to hang, fully installed with vinyl bumpers, high quality plastic sheathed wire, brass eyelets and screws. We even include the hook and nail for your wall.

Completed paintings are hand labeled and stamped for authenticity.
